Rob Dimit was born and raised in the Midwest, surrounded by corn, beans, and country music. He fled to the east coast, sang and played in rock bands, and later engineered and produced some of New England’s finest punk and new wave acts.
Rob eventually settled in New York City and took a long holiday from performing.
In 2010, the muse came calling again. Rob wrote a country song by accident, decided he liked it, and wrote some more. After the first twenty songs, this started to look like a serious project. With the aid of ace guitarist Mark Lonergan, Rob has been recording song demos and performing around Manhattan. Next stop, Nashville!
